About 10 years ago I started making horse tail wraps for friends and recently decided to share my quality hand made tail wraps with the rest of the world. My tail wraps are handmade in Maine using crushed velour with lycra. I chose to use velour and lycra material because people were having such a hard time keeping other brand wraps in their horses tail. The velour offers great holding power with the stretch of lycra. They have proven to hold up very well. Eight years ago I made a blue braided velour tail wrap for a friend and she still uses it today for everyday turn out.

Since I decided to start my own business making tail wraps, I have had many orders for the crushed velour wraps. This is quickly becoming the next craze in horse apparel. The velour is very flashy and makes for a great show piece. Whether you are riding on the trail or going to a show.
